Welcome to the Center for Democratic Governance (CDG)
At the Center for Democratic Governance (CDG), we envision a Liberia where policies and laws are shaped by the voices and needs of its citizens. Established in 2015 and legally registered with the Government of Liberia, CDG is a pro-democracy, advocacy, research, and capacity-building think tank dedicated to creating inclusive and effective governance systems.

This project which focuses on increasing inclusive service delivery and citizens’ participation in local government decision-making processes is aligned and supportive of one of OSIWA’s thematic areas: Government Delivery of Inclusive Service.
There is reason for optimism as Liberia prepares for its October 10 elections. Thus far the run-up to the vote has been calm and peaceful, with few instances of hate speech and property damage reported and no intimidation or physical attacks.
